A QD after washing should renew that just waxed look.

Current faves all over carnuba waxes in no particular order.

Sonus Carnuba Spritz
Pinnacle Mist
Zymol QD
Zymol Field Glaze
Clearkote Quickshine.

Also use Megs Last Touch but only during polishing or as a drying aid.

Had no read that before. Once I get all the way round I just go round again!

That said there is no real benefit on my daily drive one coat and then a coat of Zymol Titanium is still holding up and that was applied in September, alway kept outside and covered at least 8K since.

Sonus Carnuba Spritz it is then.

How exactly is this product used and at what point?

Also where to purchase?

Thanks.:)

Spray a small amount directly the panel, spread around with one plush MF and remove the excess and buff to a gloss with another plush MF is my method.

You can spray it onto a MF cloth and use it that way if you don't want to apply it directly to a panel through spraying.

Tim at Clean Your Car sells it, used it today on mine even works in directly sunlight on Black which lots don't.

It is great stuff Seer you won't regret the purchase. I need some more actually! As Rich said it doesn't streak at all, which some other decent QDs do, even on black. I like Sonus products a lot in general, their Trim & Motorkote and Paint Cleanser are also awesome, as are their pads.

I've not seen those ones, at least not on Clean Your Car's website.

Whereabouts would I find such items?

Thanks

I have never used the washer jets on my 182 ! lol

Hope they work as I have a MOT soon !

You really need a some kind of supercar exotica if you're gonna maintain this level of automobile hygiene.

I'm quite taken back and suprised.

SRP'd and EGP'd the car since it I hadn't done so in the last three months.

Usual method of washing with two buckets,901, drying with the Der Wunder towels.

I'm almost certain more swirl marks have appeared after completing the above process. Noticed in with sun shining on the car.

I used a lint free polishing cloths, o.k. they were bought from Halfords. Microfibre polishing cloths from Shine Detailing to remove both the SRP and EGP.

The car was certainly clean before polishing. The cloths had been used for the same job months beforehand. However all had been put through the wash before use.

Could it be that I used too much pressure be hand to apply the SRP? And/or could it be that I only used two of the lint free cloths to polish the paintwork and should've only used one cloth per panel?

Any ideas Rich?

Thanks.:)

Have the MFs passed a scratch test on a Blank CD? Had they been used before - if so how where they washed ?

How do you use the Der Wunders towels to dry - blot or wipe ?

I would have applied both of the SRP and EGP with a foam hand pad.

The polishing cloths were hand washed. They were stained with dirty marks but looking and feeling them felt as if they were new when dry from the wash.

Whats all this about microfibre cloths scratching? I thought they were designed not to do this?

I use a wiping action with the Der Wunder towels. Though I definatley noticed much finer swirls marks after SRP ing and EGP ing the car.

Been using the wiping method with the Der Wunder towels since I bought them a few months back.

either the car wasnt perfect before you started and you have just noticed it now or the cloths you are using have slightly scratched the surface if any polish/sealant is a PITa to remove use a little QD to help removal. Also use Qd when drying your car

Some microfibres arent very good!! lol try on an unwanted cd rubbing the revers if it scratches then it scratches your car i use these

I know my paintwork rather well, positive they weren't there beforehand.

Those MF towels look rather decent. You can vouch for their performance, totally scratch free?

I always test any cloth on a Blank CD to test first, I recommend testing them.

Always pat dry with them just in case, most marring comes from the drying stage.

zymol is simply the best, deep shine and smells like bubble gum lol

The Zymol that Halfords sell which is made by Turtle Wax or the real Zymol ?

Never had a problem with the Der Wunders on Black, though I don't dry it at all these days with the water filter.

Going to grab one of the Plush ones as soon as they come back into stock,
