Im used to the old style acutor rods where you had loads of play to tweak ajustment. What about this? Seems to be a joiner nut so it cant really be ajusted??

Noticed this first going round castle coombe when i drop down from 3rd to 2nd at quite high revs i get whine/noise from gearbox or clutch once the clutch is fully released and its in gear its fine noise stops. Its done it a couple more times when ive been driving enthusiastic dropping down gear...
