I do believe it's due to not being able to make the bracket any smaller.
Going off the 300mm ones I had the bolts to mount the bracket to the hub would be in the way.
Not sure if it's the same on the Renault ones, but on the xu Peugeot engines you can buy springs that go in the pump for different pressures.
Might be worth looking into if Renault do the same.
Samsung are the only brand you get all the on demand features with as no other company had the licenses (or so I was told when I just bought mine)

The axle I've bought has come off a ff 182.
But without a few people measuring we wouldn't be able to tell for sure.
Some more info on the 182 hubs would be handy as I plan to upgrade to the lager bearings on the 182 hubs

Right, after a bit more research and buying some parts I've come up with the folowing;
All ph2 172 cars share the same the same subframe, the track width difference of 19mn (renault documented) comes from the lower offset wheels (10mm per side)
172 track width 1418mm
172 track width 1437mm
182...
Just so you know the angle of the mist on the Peugeot/citroen ones vary on what car they are from.
Xsara ones on mine are perfect. The 307 ones I fitted prior aimed at the wiper arms.
After hours of searching I'm no closer to the answers that I need regarding subframes and track width.
I'm also going to be including wishbones and rear axles in this as there is no definitive answer within one thread regarding which wishbones and axle arb thickness came on what cars.
