Hi Basically yesterday my key fob stopped working all of a sudden no red light is coming on at all! the key starts he car fine no issues there at all, so i assumed it was the battery in the fob, so today at work i got my hands on a new battery for the fob and fitted it and put the fob back...

Can they just knock them selves out of time tho? It does start with a squeak most days can that be a sign?

Is there a way of determining if the pin is knackered? Would it affect the car whilst I'm driving it to? What's the purpose of sanding it down?

Where about on the gearbox is this sensor? Would it not be flagged up by the ecu tho when I got the car diagnosed?

Yeah fuel is fine pump makes all the healthy noises, the engine management light is on so I got it checked and it said problems with inlet manifold sensors so I changed both of them but no luck!

cheers pal, but i don't get an engine management light come on in my car and it almost completely clears when the cars warm, its just really bad when the car is cold and when i leave the car running for about 2-5 mins before i drive it sometimes the car cuts out and i have to start it again.
