I can no longer edit my previous post, but I like this as well. So I might try spraying them red or applying a red film. If it doesn't work I'll get some ph1 ones. Looks just as good as ph1 ones if not better, I just love all-red tail lights, they look so clean.
A couple of online articles from 2001-2002 claim "The current Clio was given a facelift last summer with "at least 50%" new structural and bodywork components, according to Renault." Also one of the car magazines I bought back in September 2001 had a ph2 review claiming the same. Not sure if not...
Thanks, leeds2592, I definitely dig the look (from @dann2707 thread): http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g62/dann2707/20160114_081344_HDR_zpspevjhwfw.jpg
Now I'd like to change the focus of the thread on some more ph1 vs ph2 - I've read some sources that claim that with the ph2 facelift Renault...
Hi guys, I was going to get a Clio mk3 due to better safety but decided that the mk2 is my true clio love lol. The mk3 is somehow more boring looking.
Back in high school I fell in love with a purple-blue (nymphea) Clio mk2 ph1. I didn't like the ph2 triangle front lights and rear...
Well, I guess I was wrong for the ABS and aircon. :D But didn't Renault stiffen the body structure or something as many reviews reported back then? Or was that just a publicity stunt? Anyway, I am fortunate to live in an area where most mark 2s are ph1. For some reason they have become more...
Ok, I cannot edit my previous posts, so I will post one more. Apparently, the Nymphea is code MV 671: http://www.cardist.fr/kit-peinture-vernis-pour-renault/597-bombe-de-peinture-code-671-teinte-bleu-nymphea-pour-renault-.html
I tried looking for its English name but perhaps it was not available...
Martin_172, not really, it was only available on the Clio mk1 ph3, mk2 ph1 and the Megane Scenic. It was used from 1996 to 2001 if I remember correctly and the ph2 didn't get it. Quite a rare sight, indeed.
4lj0, thanks, great job! I dig them both, especially the Alien green. However, the...
Not really. it's very ex[pensive, but not pointless. The ph2 had a many improvements such as better interior, but also ABS and air conditioning on more models afaik. They say the protection and security was also improved. And the ph2 is a newer car, so you can get a car made in 2004-2006 instead...
Hello, I'm brand new here but I've been in love with the Clio mark 2 phase 1 for years. However, the Clio 3 really grew on me and I decided to get that instead as it is newer. I got a phase 1 model in navy blue but I remember one colour I liked very much on the Clio mk 2 ph1. It was called Bleu...
