As the rings are a series of North and South magnets, there's been a bit of rust or shard of metal on it when you've picked it up to fit it. Always check the rings for foreign matter immediately before fitting.

I'm servicing/chasing again this year. I've worked for various cars since 2000, including running chase for Duncan and Susan Cameron in 2003 when Susan died on the rally. We go and visit her cairn every year. I've serviced all over the UK and Europe, but Mull definitely is the best rally.

NO, Im not chip, neither am I A chip or the chip.In the picture of the clips holding the injectors to the fuel rail, at the bottom of the picture you can clearly see where the sensor plugs in.

THATS NOT AN INJECTOR!!! Thats the fuel pressure sensor. Yes you'll need a new one and no, dont start it, it'll spray high pressure fuel every where. Im a mechanic of 35yrs, willing to bet the "injector " crowd have chosen a different profession.
