Quite happy with 234bhp/ 225lbsft from the family wagon
Decent power from the Z4 (3.0 bi turbo?) mr2 turbo (let me know if you would like to come to the ring Alan ;p) , the mountune fiesta ST - it must be pretty nippy, good all round package! A ITB'd clio that made good power and sounds...
Thanks Rich, much appreciated
would be good to see how your car runs with the modifications if we lived closer, very tempted and in two minds at the moment if I should touch the engine, exhaust to increase the performance.
Good choice :) Identical with mine but mine came with the colour coded side skirts, gives the Impression that it's sitting closer to the ground. Is it the SL version as I see the leather seats?
Did you carry out the modifications?
I brought a blob eye Subaru Impreza WRX wagon SL several months back now, very versatile car, adequate boot space , can put roof rack if require more space or tow, feels safer to drive when weather turns bad, good midrange and pulls well on boost. The negatives - fuel consumption but you would...
Following one in the elise down b-roads, I was more impressed with its cornering ability then its stright line performance tbf. Perforamance seem slightly better then 1*2 but I think that was down to its mid range punch coming out the corners.
I had the matched inlet and remap (RS Tuning) done on my ph1 172 and was happy with the results, The power was constant from low revs to the redline. at Surrey rolling road I got 174bhp but did have a panel filter and pro speed cat back exhaust too. On the day most standard sports got about 160...
Punto GT with a few breathing mods get around the 15sec mark. The Guy I knew with the GT with the coupe turbo engine was getting high 13's/low 14secs which could be improved alot if he got the traction right at the start.
The traction at Pod is nothing like out on normal roads, give it the...
In my ph1 172 I was about 10-12bhp up on standard clio sports with Prospeed cat back, pipercross panel filter, inlet matched and then done the RS Tuning remap.
Could easily see the difference on road with other clio sports esp midrange.
Lovely motor mate.
The MPG sound's a bit crap tho, wonder how bad the turbo version would be then :S
I'm loving getting over 35mpg around town and over 45 on the motorway compared to what I was getting with the 172/182.
