Maybe someone over here, can answer my questions as well?
@Dr Jekyll It seems that you know anything about it?

Thanks!
@mikekean Thanks!
I am already at ET36, but I have plenty of space left to bring them outwards I think. But in your opinion ET26 (+10mm) at the front and 31 (+5mm) at the back is not an option? Also, the 10mm spacers are only available in hubcentric (with longer bolts), bolt to hub starts at...
Hello,
I also have a question about spacers. There is a lot on the forum about this, but I cannot find the correct answer.
172 Cup: ET38,5
172 Ph2: ET48
182: ET45
On 172 Ph2 and 182 they common use 15-20mm at the front and 10-15mm at the back. This bring the ET (in case of a 182) to 25-30 at...
@StrongboW
I just used normal paint, so not heat resistant paint or something like that. The rocker cover was painted with a spray can, the engine block with a normal can of paint and a brush (paint out of a can is mostly better than a spray can imo and you can apply it thicker). Cleaned...
The results from mapping @ the dyno, engine seems to be very healthy:

Thanks mate :smile:
First run (without remap) goes to 7000 rpm and second run (with remap) goes to 7250, see the graph. So limiter is +250 rpm`s (which is more then enough)
I am very happy with the results, very healthy indeed!
About me:
My name is Gerben Visser, 27 years old and living in the Netherlands. I am a Cliosport member since 2014, but I never posted pictures or a story about my car. On the moment I am writing this the car is finished (for now) and I did all the mods I wanted to do, so it is time to show the...
Really awesome result, congrats. After the whole building proces this is a great reward. Must give a lot satisfaction I think, and thats where you doing it for!
Is the car finished now or do you have more plans for the future? Or just enjoying it and keeping him healthy?
I have been told that the 438`s and 421`s are (almost) the same camshafts, only timed differently! Like @masekwm said, you can time the 438`s the same as 421`s (and vice versa), but you can`t use the stock locking tool/timing mark in that case.
438`s have beter idle then the 421`s when you...
Schrick made only 1 set for the Clio 172/182, so I think they must be the same!
So that was with high compression pistons? Then it is possible that the psi value`s are lower on my stock pistons! If a healthy engine has 180-190 psi with stock pistons, you should score higher with high...
@NorthloopCup
Thats what I thought as well, like I posted in my first post! Properly nothing to worry about then, also because they are all in the same range. I read about doing a wet test to check if the rings are worn, but because mine all give the same pressure I thought they were okay...
@NorthloopCup
Thats exactly what I mean. In theory nothing changed (still 1:11 dynamic), but dynamic compression can be affected by sport/race cams? So it is possible that it are healthy values? Normally a Clio 1*2 gives about 180-190 psi, but with stock cams. Also in my case all of them give...
