    First experience the V6 today

Just awesome! A beautiful car! What do Vees go for now? I thought about one a few years back when they were £15K but went for an Elise 111 instead. Great move as I only lost £100 in depreciation on the Elise in 6 months of ownership! I know what you mean about sense of occasion though, what a...

photos as promised..3/4 plate and splitter

That looks great! I also fitted a Fabia splitter one mine and they look amazing! Did you glue one corner piece back on or cut both sides off? Can you give us the dimensions of the plate so we don't make the same mistake and order the wrong size? Cheers!

    Lowered springs not low!!!

    Weight Saving Question??

All that and drop a few psi out the tyres too so they don't spin up as easily! Remember to top them back up on the way home though!!!

we own a clio at last

Fuel economy is enough reason to go for a 172 over say a 197! It was our reason! Can't wait to see it, sounds just like what we went for!

    Lowered springs not low!!!

I hear you! Maybe I'd feel better though if the top mounts were sitting properly. I have a nagging doubt I did something wrong!

Back in a RenaultSport Clio after 5 years

I am in the same situation! Had a 172 6 years ago. Sold it for an Impreza, then an Elise, now back in a 172! Started a business and now other things are a priority! loving minting up the 172 though, brings back good memories! Post pics, very interested in how you get on.
