    Farewell VirginMedia...

I'm with cityfibre in Leeds which is FTTP too. 900mb for £30 a month. Sky have just called me due to the "current financial crisis" to see if they could reduce my bills on my broadband. They couldn't get close on the broadband so tried to upsell me TV. My reply of "ooooft, sky? Not given the...

    Insurance options for 17yo son...

Definitely a cheap shitter. On the one have he can make it his own and not be bothered about cleaning it before handing it back and as said it's a right of passage. Also insurance is high for a reason, he'll bump it at some point, even if just into a car park post somewhere.

    Power Tool Perverts

That impact set looks spot on for the money. Given the guarantee on Halfords stuff it's a no brainer at that price.

Knee pads - What are people using?

I'm with the turdburgler on this. I got a couple of Screwfix kneeling mats free on a deal years ago and they're brilliant. You can lean for something or roll on your knees without them dislodging or falling off them.

Storage for bolts, nuts, screws, fittings PLEASE

How many bolts you got? I have a mix of Stanley fatmax and raaco boxes. They're both decent. I also have a couple of these that are decent for the money Clicky Or get a s**t load of the open bins but they'll get covered in dust.

    SGS Wheel dollies

I think it's down to centre of gravity, @dann2707's COG is basically in line with the wheels, where as a full hight person will be closer the window.

    Power Tool Perverts

No problem, unlike the red army I'm not particularly moody when someone buys a different brand and won't go on slating your mum and sister 🤣. I actually think for mechanical works Milwaukee is a better brand with better tools. The impact wrenches and ratchets look brilliant for their use and...

    Power Tool Perverts

As @Yorkshire Pudding says, I'm well invested in makita as a prosumer I think the term is. I have pretty much one of everything they offer across the 18v lxt tool and garden range and some plug in stuff. I sense you've already bought Milwaukee, which I've never used myself. Seen a few people...

    The new tool thread

f**king savage, but Dan does have a point. I spend more time grinding than welding! They were about £250 for both sets. Definitely not cheap but I'm a sucker for nice things.
