If I were to have a devoted track car, it would be an MX5 they just don't seem to care about how much abuse you give 'em. I drove it pretty hard, but my mate, who the '5 belonged to, was just flat out all day and it didn't use any oil or water. That car hadn't been run for 18 months until less...

That's what i like about the Quaife diff, so I'd probably go in that direction.

Would I be right in saying Gripper are a plate type diff and somewhat more vicious than the ATB?

I know I'm well and truly getting ahead of myself on this one, but, my current Civic has got a torsen differential and I do enjoy the feeling of the diff 'working' on roundabouts and tight corners. I see Quaife do an ATB, does anyone run one?:laughing:

That's most certainly my intention, you're right some airflow wouldn't go amiss. 15's will definitely be on the shopping list when the time comes, as will a good overhaul on the brakes. Tracking is definitely a good shout too. M y main thought towards suspension is more its age than the actual...

Yeah, I wasn't looking to go all out race car, I just wanted to see roughly where the land lies with regards to brakes upgrade and suspension improvements. As far as suspension bushes go, is it worth going poly or are they too hard?
