Not sure if you have them in the UK but just fitted a set of Kumho KU39 to my basically standard 182. By no means an ADO8R in terms of grip, I’m pretty happy with them on both road and track.
We don't have a complete list of the 01 LE's, but we're aware of at least 8 Flame Reds out of the 85 cars.
Here's the list on www.ozrenaultsport.com:

And a pic of mine, running stock suspension at the time I think:
Phase 1's are pretty rare here in Oz. Only 85 made it here in mid 2001 & they were sold as a limited edition. A small handful came in Flame Red. I'm lucky enough to have two Ph1's and one of them (track specced) is a Flamer.
That Phase 1 looks awesome! Apparently there's a white Ph1 project car thread on here somewhere. Is this the car, and if so, could someone point me to the thread? Cheers :approve:
Re: The story of a high mileage 172
Great thread! Something for everyone in here. Pretty extreme conditions that the cars have to live with in the UK. Rusted/busted springs. Wow! Only 85 Phase 1's made it to Oz. I've posted a link to this info on www.ozrenaultsport.com
