Re: 205 Tyres and Lowering Springs on 172 Cup.... Issues?
My 172 ran 205/45 16 on coil overs very low and is fine
For the track I use 888 195/50 16 and they rub slightly under heavy cornering
Thought you may notice that and on the wrong side too
Drivers seat on the left hand side of the car
Only use it on track and with harnesses
The seats were originally in a mk1 mondeo so its a long boring story to why that ended up A the wrong way round and B ended up in the Clio
Take the plug out of number one and drop a little oil down the bore, re do the compression test and if it goes straight up to 190/200 then you know its the rings and nothing to do with the valves, i would not worry to much as 177 is still well in the green mate
im having problems with my o/s rear caliper sticking when doing track days, leave 30 mins to cool down and all is ok utill you take it back out on track, normall driving on the road even quite hard is ok,i have bled the brakes but still keeps happening
Hi have just joined myself having bought a Clio RS for track days, think the cars had a hard life but everything seems ok at the moment, it has adjustables all round and groove/drilled front worn discs on the front that are going to need to be changed very soon. happy with it at the mo.
