Look up/search connects2, connects to CD changer port on stereo. with this you will have full control via the stalk and it will charge. Ipod touch will require additional voltage connector/converter.

On my 197 there is a hole on the r/h/s of the glovebox that feeds to the stereo cavity. There is just room to push the connects2 inside and it just leaves the connector lead trailing into the glovebox.

Yes, no hint of favouritism. I expect these drivers are far more capable of getting the best out of a car that I ever will so forgive me if I take their expert word and experience over opinion.
It would be helpful if when replying to these sort of questions people would detail their actual experiences of driving each of the cars in question (preferably around a track). Lots of opinions here which without actual experience count for sweet FA.
