So my drivers side exterior door handle packed in today, I can open it from the inside fine. Noticed it started to feel weird last week as you had to like open it all the way and at the very last bit it clicked open, so I knew it was on its way out. Is it an easy DIY fix like a spring? Thanks alot
Debatable, don't forget you need to factor in wrapping materials £4, time to wrap it, petrol to the post office, for me around £10, then the postage itself probably around £5 so a tenners not unreasonable at all.
Hi everyone, just ordered a recon alternator and ill be getting it done at a local place to me as I'm pretty sure it's dead. Anyway, is it worth ordering a tensioner idler and belt and get that done at the same time? What should I be paying? (Ballpark figure) thanks alot :)
K ill do that, my old man reckons I missed a wire off te battery for the alternator, is that a possibility? I have one main live and 2 smaller ones going into the fuse box then one negative that branches into 2. Doubt it's that though as it was fine all day the other day
Just to add, the fresh battery went flat after ten mins whereas the day before it was fine for a whole day! I'm pretty sure it's not the battery maybe a dodgy connection on the Alternator?
