I hate to piss on your fire Ja but I've got a 1998 Xsara VTS. I bought it for 2 grand two years ago and fitted 12:1 forged pistons, cams, verniers, decat, panel filter and re-map, it produces 206BHP@ 7200rpm (39bhp over standard) and it runs spot-on and has done for the past 12000 miles. Total...
I did that drive on friday in my xsara. Well, from Liverpool to middlesbrough and back again. Couldn't see a thing for most of the way with all the spray and accidents on M62. But due to the clear roads and ungodly speed on the way back at 21:00 it only took 1hr 20. Wouldn't have fancied the...
Well It looks like a crack to me. For the money he probably wants, I'd not be buying that. Probably would leak water from the waterways into the exhaust. Before anyone buys it I'd be asking him a few questions and ask for a guarantee
In picture number 4 (One of the exhaust ports) Is that a big feck off crack??

Well I didnt know that. lol And after all the trouble I went to sourcing the suspension components from a williams to fit mine mainly for the brakes. Should have just tried the frames first.
To fit the williams or 16v disks you need the suspension set-up as it is the offset of the calliper mounting holes that spaces the callipers out enough to fit the bigger disks. Unless you fabricate some spacers but they'll probably snap. lol
I've got the mac version and it all works exept for the pictures and part numbers. Trying to figure out what I need. Running OSX but jumps into classic to run dialogys
Yeah, totally agree with you there mate. The valver manifolds seem to hold more heat but my williams one still gets fairly hot.
Jesus mate. I can confirm that the phase 3 bonnet does need cutting slightly as it rubbed a lot and was difficult to close. That was with new engine mounts all round...
No need for bonet. Just cut a section out of the internal structure with a dremmel wizzard.
No need for wings If just running the 16v track as isnt much wider. If you plan to fit the williams track then you deffo need em.
Cool. Obviously I've missed out a few bits like fitting a 16v throttle cable and coupling fuel lines but all those things become obvious when you mill the ideas around your head. All great great fun!
