Nipped out for a Sunday drive in the sunshine and decided to take a few quick snaps of the Clio -unfortunately had to take them with the Iphone!

Cheers, they are the TPI polarised wheel bolts. I picked mine up from ebay mate, was the cheapest place I found them -

Thanks chap. I have a set of Cooksports ready to go on but im currently part way through sourcing all the parts for a complete suspension refresh (powerflex bushes all round, Whiteline rear arb, PMS solid top mounts and cup shocks/wishbones, track rods and ends!). That should get it sitting, and handling, right!

Yes that's correct, i'm running 300mm with the PMS mounting bracket. They are the cup turini's, so I didn't have to fit spacers to get the callipers to fit underneath.

Appreciate the kind words. The exhaust is a full engine-back system (has a 4-2-1 prototype exhaust manifold and a sports cat as well). Currently waiting for a solid Prima racing exhaust mount to be delivered so I can get it sitting central and level -the zip ties are failing! :smile:

That's very interesting, I just assumed........ incorrectly...... it was a Miltek lol!
Loving the sound of a prototype 4-2-1, sounds like there is some very nice bits on this :blush:

Haha nope no Miltek here :smile: As its a 172 I have the spare wheel well in the back so the exhaust is a 182 lookalike cat-back system.

The sound is almost perfect for my needs - not too loud around town, but when I put my foot down and fly up the revs it roars into life! I would have liked to keep my project thread going with everything I've done to the car but my patience ran thin with the hassles of uploading the pictures so I abandoned it. :down: Oh and a quick pic of the manifold I've dug out -

That 4-2-1 looks awesome!! Really smart bit of kit......... didn't realise it was a 172 either, just assumed it was a 182 :up::up:

Yeah I was well pleased with it! Around this time next month I will know if its had the desired affect of releasing a few more horses. :grimacing:

Haha no they didn't, Monaco blue can only be found on the 172's. I think when the 182s were released Renault dropped all the 172 colours and introduced a complete new set to choose from! :up:

I love how the red and blue work together. For me it really pops nicely and I would 100% recommend it. Go one step further and get yourself some brembos?

Id love some brembos but my budget is pretty poor to be honest.
I need to get rid of the stock 172 wheels before anything lol.
Turinis really suit it.

Car sold a few weeks ago, missing it already. Hopefully the new owner enjoys it as much as I did.

I'm currently driving a mk4 Golf GT TDI, which is quick in a straight line but doesn't handle anywhere near as good as the Clio.
