Nilfisk E 140.3-9 X-Tra Pressure Washer with 2.1 KW Induction Motor

My current Nilfisk is on its last legs.

I'm not sure what's wrong with it. The pressure seems fine but the motor doesn't stop when releasing trigger on the lance.

I've had it for a fair few years and it's taken quite a pounding in that time.

I'm looking at spending a bit more money this time and I like the look of this one. I've got about a hundred quid of Amazon vouchers so I'll only need to add another ton.

Anyone got one?

It's pretty powerful and although my current C series is more than powerful enough for doing the car I could use a bit more oomph when cleaning the patio and other garden bits.

Features
  • Powerful 2.1Kw induction motor with aluminium pump producing 140 bar pressure
  • Anti kink soft feel 9M hose with easy hose feed to integrated hose storage
  • Easy to use click & clean accessory system
  • Auto start/stop function for longer pump life and economy controlling the 500 l/h max water flow
  • Robust construction and on-board accessory storage
  • Two year warranty

I can't see why not, if you've got the vouchers and it's gonna last you 2-3 years, why not spend the extra ~£100 or so if your gonna use it often - makes the extra initial expenditure well worthwhile. I recently bought the C120 PCAD Xtra (whatever the f**k PCAD means - I know extra means it comes with patio cleaner) for £68.99 inc delivery on black friday. I'm very impressed tbh

The C series are bloody proper decent bits of kit.

Ordered one from prime yesterday for£199.99.

Should be here today along with a new snow foam lance.

If it gets here early enough I might give a try as my car is absolauteky hanging at the moment.

Taken the lance apart to make sure it's not jammed internally or are you wanting to upgrade anyway?

Ok so it's a great bit of kit however I'm struggling to see how to replace the hose?

It appears to be built into the unit. On my previous Nilfisk the hose simply connected on a screw on connector at the rear of the washer. On this one the hose dissapears down into the washer just below the reel.

Mine screwed into a fitting on the reel itself (E140.2), afaik the newer one is a banjo bolt fitting under the plastic cover, the rubber type hose is much easier used, although I just coil it up now and hang it over the handle instead of winding it up

Have a look on eBay at a seller called q washers, they make the hoses up. Took me 5 mins to change
