Wow. 3 years has flown by. Still no immediate plans to get rid...but I have to admit I do hanker after a Focus RS now.

Was that Bedford trackday on the 16th May by any chance? I was there in my 172 Cup and the cars in your video look familiar!!
@MarkCup

It was indeed. Unfortunately I had to call a halt to the day at lunch due to my Mintex 1144 rear pads wearing down to the metal.

Unless there were multiple 172 Cups I'm sure I came across you on track once or twice...I still have very fond memories of my 172 Cup so I love seeing them still pounding around just as they should be!

Thats a shame, I feel your pain as our alternator went at Rockingham in April so we managed till just after lunch.

I think we were the only Cup there. I saw a few 182's and 172's but no other Cups from what I remember.

How are you finding the AD08R's @MarkCup ? I need new boots for the Mini but use it as a daily (like you), so dont want to lose the cold/wet weather grip of the Conti Sport Contact 5's. I assume they are very good on track, but its more the day to day stuff im interested in.

Right now @Sir_Dave they're, umm, interesting.

Up to 4th gear on treated and damp roads the traction light is flashing at will and that's when the ambient temperature is 10 degrees or so.

When it's just above freezing they're even worse. Oddly, I quite enjoy it! I leave early enough for the roads to be really quiet so I can have a little play...and have it moving about at just 10mph if I want.

If I was running a daily commute with unpredictable drivers and a proper volume of traffic...I'd get them changed.

I now have a build date for my FRS so I need to start thinking about moving my ST on.

I have a few options available...but no idea on price!

I see standard cars at anything from £8k to £10k for a 13 plate with 60k miles.

Mine has Mountune MR230, one owner, full Ford history, very very well looked after...

Thoughts? Offers?

Just reviving this thread a little, how did you find the AD08R in the summer @MarkCup are they worth it for track use ?
Cheers
