I only get time to do one dayers now really, two at a stretch as life gets in the way!

Saying that I could do a better job in a day if I'm honest lol!

I remember coating Toms brand new yeti in carpro and it was still great 18months later and when it was crashed into even the painter asked what the f**k it was coated in!
Same with Carpro/gtechnique and the migliore one.

You're the reason mine still looks mint after a wash [emoji1419]

How did he sound? Surprised or sheepish?

What do you think?

Looks like he's more than happy to help and put things right.

Sounds like an honest guy to be fair. I'd be happy with those replies.

This is why I have not slated him on here, on detailing world, and not named him on detailing world. He has a chance to put things right.

Completely agree mate.

May be there was a problem with the batch. Unfortunately these things can and do happen.

Fingers crossed he puts it right :)

Sounds pretty good to me, i'd try and get some advice as well from people like @gally to get some professional tips to take with you.

Yeah reading those responses i'd be very happy with that too, he's not trying to palm you off or shake the blame, fingers crossed for a speedy solution. I can 100% understand the disappointment however, I think most of us would be no different!

Putting the detail and cracked screen aside I had a cracking drive today on some awesome A roads. Covered 140 miles and it was the most fun I've had in a long time. Can't get over how capable this car is, even more astounding is that it was built by the French!!

This is the first time I've properly looked into the r26r, I didn't realise they were built so raw. They look incredible!

Really sorry to hear about your problems mate but I'm sure they will get sorted and it's good you're still enjoying the car regardless.

Ok just got back from the detailer. He used his rotary and a touch of 3M refiner on the pad to work part of the rear 1/4 panel which removed all marring after a few minutes.

He reckons the there is a issue with the evo on top of the serum. He said he used the Exo V3 for the 1st time on this car, now he will strip and redo the whole car from fresh again and apply serum and exo v2.

The car was inside a heated show room for two days once coats applied so he was a bit baffled.

So car will dropped off again one week today for 8 days.

Lets see what happens.

Great result. Fingers crossed it's all good this time around.

Fair play to the detailer.

I'm guessing he'll claim costs from Gtechniq.

All he did is what I said above, he had all the big lights you all use plus a sun light to check.

I don't know anymore than that.
Just wondering if he wiped down one of the worst filling polishes known to man. Gives an insight again how serious he's taking it.

Just trying to help mate.

Gotcha, wasn't being rude just didn't know the answer. You reffering to the 3M?

Crikey! Hope you get it sorted! The deep black is an arse, but not impossible.

Fingers crossed

I can understand that to be honest, the car is awesome with a capital A, but with recent issues and what not, if the chance is there to maybe make a wee profit, i'd be the same

If you keep it, fingers crossed it all gets sorted this time

I genuinely like the car and I know all will be ok when I collect. If it sells, onwards and upwards, if not I'm still happy.

Sorting a pet drier today as gally recommends to help preserve paint.

Look at the MetroVac Sidekick too for dryers. Maybe a bit more expensive than a pet one though.
