Chance your arm at £2999. But black and silver are the two hardest colours to sell.
But the more standard you make it, the more people it will appeal to.

Agree with your valuation, but apart from wheels ( originals included ) it is original.
A mild steel exhaust & squidgy hoses won`t increase it`s appeal.

I have kept all original items so the car can easily be back to "original" (i even have the brake hoses). It's still got its orange indicator lenses! Thanks for your valuation/advice... very interesting...

I have a standard and completely unmarked 172, had a repaint, all new tyres, belts, suspension... basically renewed everything I could!
I was offered £4000 for it just before Xmas. (In hindsight I should have sold it!)
People love standard cars. And you can claw some more cash in by selling the modifications.

Wow! That's good to hear! That's your Monaco.... I have a Monaco on 60,000 that's pretty standard and I'm planning on sorting the bodywork too.
Whilst the cars are for "me"..I'll run the turinis (love Turini's) and keep the minor cosmetic changes but for the purpose of selling, I could swap back easily. That's the key... keep everything!

Clio 182 Racing Blue, 54 Plate

81K miles, #FSH, all MOTs.

Will have all new Michelin PS3 tyres.

KTR full exhaust system + decat, also had the tips chopped off for 3.5" slash cuts at JP Exhaust, Macclesfield - Prima Racing exhaust mounts + new fittings throughout.

Whiteline rear arb.

Carbon dipped most black plastics.

Retrimmed Snappy wheel.

JL Audio C2 speakers front and rear, inc tweeters - Dynamat throughout.

Body work is in fantastic condition, I had a dent man out 6 months ago to remove a few dings... No scratches, just a few stone chips as to be expected on the front - Had the rear bumper sprayed last year due to having a small scuff at my local Bentley garage at a cost of £320.

Belts don't need doing for another 3 years, was last done at DTM.

*Currently sat at a soft play centre whikst daughter is playing, this is all I can think of atm, as i'm blagged and its noisey in here.

Is it new shape or old?
If it's new shape it's too cheap, if it's old shape it's too expensive.

Yeah that's a cheap car. And if I didn't have 7 cars already, I'd be buying it for my Mrs.
Good colour, good spec, right engine.

Good to know. Its the petrol by the way. 2.5 I think. Road tax is a bit punchy!

Yeah, they're a pain to sell. I had the older shape (they were 2.3's I think?) but at £500 a year, families used to run a mile when road tax was mentioned!

I thought it was a 2.2 diesel for some reason??

But when I say unmarked, I do mean not one single stone chip anywhere on the car.
Brand new steering wheel the lot.
A guy wanted it for a hot hatch collection.
He's bought a 172 exclusive now though.
My own fault for dithering.

Black 182, 117,000, bodywork isn't too bad (some scratches and marks here and there), 2 of the cup alloys could do with a refurb, remapped, Ktec induction, braided lines, Milltek exhaust.

BMW have offered me £800, is £1400 private sale reasonable?
