Kahn design, Bradford

To be fair Kahn design have been a bit more than a range rover bling factory for a long time.

They actually make their own Aston based car , do conversions to about every supercar known , have a hugely wealthy client base and have a f**king huge stand at geneva every year which isn't exactly a cheap place to exhibit at

I live IN Bradford (sometimes), it's s**t. Don't Do It.

Having lived in both Farsley and Pudsey I can safely say they are MUCH better than ANY part of Bradford - Farsley is the best out of those above IMO.

Bradford city centre is s**t I agree but there are plenty of nice places if you go into the sticks a little.
I suspect your age might have a bit to do with what is good for you and what is good for slightly older people...

Saltaire is decent from what I've been told/seen and hasn't been mentioned yet. Allerton isn't bad too at least in parts! Then you have Hawarth and surrounding areas which also have a BD postcode....

You're probably right that my age has something to do with what I think is a good or not area but the general comparison that i'n making is that Leeds is better than Bradford. I can appreciate that Bradford probably has some areas which are decent but the majority, especially where its quite urban/bulit up is not great. The more rural areas seem to be better and quieter.

Girlfriends parents live behind Bradford but sadly you have to drive through it to get there.

f**k me, I hate it. I now refuse to drop her off home at her parents. Get her to get a train back from Leeds. I'm dedicated as f**k to my woman but I simply won't drive through Bradford!!! I'm genuinely just angry now thinking about it.

Last time I went through someone had left their car in the middle of the road and was chatting to another family in the middle of the f**king Road!!!! I beeped my Horn and the guy walked towards me offering me out for a fight!

Afzal Kahn has a wonderful collection of cars. It seems like a good company to work for as people still stick with him. I do agree that some range rovers look bad but some of them are really nice, especially the new wide body defender he has its amazing 100 million times better than the original and how it should of been from factory!

Also Bradford is a no, no. I am not to sure on surrounding areas but deffo want to avoid living there and driving through it as much as possible.

I work in Bradford/Keighley. It's not great to be honest. Leeds would be an option, as others have said Pudsey etc. Or if you like countryside theres plenty north of Keighley.

LOL, I know you're not even exaggerating. Driving through it daily makes me wince.

I studied there for 3 years.
Its full of rats, skank prossies and badmanz in impreza wagons. I generally found most people in Bradford weren't very friendly irrespective of their colour. Northerners are pretty friendly in general and alot more pleasant than southerners ( im from Brum) but the BD5 lot werent and they oddly have bread-butter & Tea with their fish and chips.

Only good thing is cheap food, Rajas, Mumtaz and Lahores.

I did go up to Saltaire and that was really nice and was surprised it was Bradford.

Kahn Design - I personally, would avoid like the plague. I remember when he first started up as Auto Design Techniks, in a seedy little unit on Thornton Road. The guy is so bent, he could change a £9 note in three's

Bradford - The same. I was born there, couldn't wait to leave, it's a sesspit. IF you do decide to go for it, the only half decent parts are BD17, BD18, BD10 or parts of BD2 if you are on a lower budget. BD19 was ok last time I was there.
Leeds is more expensive, like most places it has its 5hitholes but it's much nicer than Bradford.

Huddersfield, Halifax are close but the commute would be a pain. The Kahn HQ is on the opposite side of town.

If you need anymore info send me a PM

If you're looking at BD10 avoid Greengates and look at Idle or Apperley Bridge. I live right on the Greengates Junction at my dads and within the last week we have a car window smashed, our toilet window smashed (which is 3 stories up!) and a broken roof from kids sitting on it and messing. Always people loitering and causing trouble but if you go out no more than half a mile its not as bad. Weird.

Kahn have been going for years and must be doing something right to be able to compete with lots of other companies in the same business.
I cant say I like their cars personally but each to their own.

All I know of them is their previous image. He was on "how did you get so rich" recently and you know what, he and the company seem to be a spot on.

He has a Chelsea showroom. Does all sorts of super cars. He'd also bought 25 of the last Defenders to modify for his rich clients.

Yep

People often quote stuff without knowing the full story

His stuff i have seen in Geneva is all top stuff

His Chelsea showroom is full of nice stuff too

The Katherine Ryan show? I've just started watching that. I'll keep an eye out lol

My only opinion on the owner is based off the cars I see. I'll see if the show changed my mind lol
