me front bumper is a one off I think. Phase 1 lower, phase 2 lower and standard grill. Cars had a recent blow over as I've found a few overspray marks here and there. When I got it I thought the paint work was really good for its age and I've since found out why. Previous owner to the previous owner must of had it done. Either way I'm happy:D

Turns out it wasn't a mount issue. Seems like the dmf is failing. Vibration didn't go away for long and yesterday the car struggle to get in gear at times. The commute home took twice as long and it was a hot one with lots of stop starting in traffic. Wife said it was making a racket reversing onto the drive too.
All gears are there, clutch pressure is fine there's no slipping or burning smells just the vibration and gears not clicking in every now and again.
After chatting to few car mates in work and ex mechanics they seemed different to agree. There's a lot of modified cars in work and ex car trade guys so quite a pool of knowledge to draw from.
Will have a fiddle later. Not a cheap fix at around £400 if I'm lucky. Can get a luk dmf from gsf for £195 with the code and minimum is a few hours labour as I don't get time to even contemplate doing this myself.

All sorted in the end James?
Yet to be done mate. Got a price to fit. Waying up whether to go single mass flywheel as they last longer.
Cars running fine it just vibrates on idle but theres no noise or rattles at the moment.
Until it really affects the gear change, clutch and drivability I'll put it off for as long as I dare!!!

Small update.

Planned to change gearbox mount, lower torque mount(dog bone) and do a short shift mod today.

Well started with a wash as it was overdue.

The lower torque mount or dog bone by another name was a piece of piss to do.
Next was the gearbox mount.. The main nut was a bit loose and far too easy to undo. The reason for the new mount was to see if it eliminated the tick over vibration, I suspected the dmf was on the way out.
Well I couldn't for love nor money get the two mount nuts off, they must have tightened by hercules himself. Will need an impact gun to loosen those bad boys off.
The retightening of the main nut seems to have helped as on the test drive for the short shift mod the vibration didn't seem as noticeable but it was only a short drive.

That's leads me onto the short shift mod which on a phase one is pretty straightforward. Essentially move the locating ballstud 20mm closer to the main rotation point.
This combined with a shorter gear knob, Richbrook top gear, has completely transformed the gear change. It's shortened the throw massively and has made engagement much more positive.
Easily the best £1.25 spent on any car.

It really has transformed the way the car drives.

Next on the list is an underseat sub courtesy of @Daniel and and aftermarket wheel with a cruise control bracket as I'll be loosing the airbag.

That's it, no pics as I was too engrossed and on the clock as the missus is off out tonight.

Cheers for reading james

Gave the old girl a wash and hoover out today.

Fitted my new used under seat sub for added bass yol...

Fitted my new cliosport.net window sticker for extra scene points and at least 2 bhp:)

Finally got my omp wheel fitted.
Cruise controls to wired in but not in a hurry for them as don't use them too often.
Refused to pay £20 for an omp push button horn so wired in a Richbrook stop/start button I had laying around.

Bought the wheel second hand from @Mbeau for a great price and spent a few hours cleaning and brushing it up. Came up really well i think. To be honest for £50 can't complain.

Yeah section at a time etc.

What made you choose 845? It is supposed to be great, not sure I’ve used it.

About a year ago someone on here posted their black 182 with it applied and looked awesome, really glossy.

Thought I'd give it a go on the cup and loved it too. Looked great on mondial blue too.

As it was a bit cooler today I could do a bit more than one panel at a time as it was taking a while haze.
