Yeah it's a laugh. Sometimes hit and miss (literally) with the net code, but overall decent enough.

Well, I'm sure most of the idiots will just proclaim I'm being s**t, or whatever - and some of it will be down to skill, I'm sure. But there are a couple of annoying things that really grate on me:

When sniping from behind a rock, you have to leave cover completely. Even if the barrel of your rifle clears said rock / building, if you're that bit too close (but still show as clear) then you just shoot the rock, rather than whatever you're clearly targeting.

Lots of screen tear / clipping / lag on Xbox one. I'm not sure why this game does it and none of my others do - as in, it's not my connection.

Battlepacks are pointless.

The game rewards you too much for not playing the objective. Conquest is 50% high scoring if you play properly, the other 50% are Tards adding no value to the way the game ends, other than just trying to get their SPM / KDR to look as good as possible - as if they'll go down in gaming history for scoring 30-1 in a tank? Nobody will care, or remember the second that the next round begins, so get over yourselves. This was a problem in other BF's, too, however.

Game loading times are beyond ridiculous. I've genuinely boiled the kettle and made a cup of tea whilst a game of Conquest was loading.

I've seen other people moan about it on here - but there are instances where I've pumped a full clip of 46 bullets into someone, and haven't killed them - they casually turn, hit me once, and my body disintegrates. Whether that's attributed to the lag or not, I don't know. It's f**king irritating, whatever causes it.

I'm quite sure that some people will laugh these off, but they're my gripes, and they've seriously put me off the BF franchise for now. I do think that they're trying to pander to the lowest common denominator of gaming, where earlier games in the franchise concentrated on balancing for the right reasons.

I agree with all of that tbf, operations is a lot better than conquest I find.

I have to reset the router everytime I want to play for some bizarre reason otherwise I just get those red circles and lag.
After that it works fine maybe see if it's the same with yours?

The sniping issue behind a rock is similar to the one I've had when firing from a parapet - the round is probably hitting the stonework a foot to the side of me, rather than the bloody enemy that I'm looking at down the sights.

Game loading times? Yep - even on a PC installed on an SSD - it takes a considerably long time to install the round. That said, there's a lot going on in the background. Bugs me a bit, but not like the core game does.

Similar to your last point, I've never known a BF game have such an horrendous hit ratio. I have zero faith in what I'm firing is anywhere near the target I'm aiming at. I've never played a BF game like it - it feels like the game is being played in fudge - a slow, labourous lag of accuracy and random hit detection.

Although clearly an inferior BF game overall, I've had so much fun with Star Wars Battlefront - both online and in single player mode. Pretty much every time I know why I've been killed online, rather than having a perpetual "WTF?" Expression on my face when I'm killed for the 42nd time in the same round by an enemy behind five layers of cover.

Weird. Random. Broken. I just hope the next BF title doesn't follow the BF1 mould.

Okie dokie then. Tbh I'm being picky as overall for me, the game is good. Flawed at times maybe.

I've hardly played recently.
Had a few rounds on the new maps, got absolutely annihilated in every round, mainly to me being s**t but sometimes due to issues as said above.

I wonder what the next title will be? WW2?

It's decent but like any of the DLC it's not a huge change apart from a few maps. Couple of the maps I totally dislike which is a bit annoying but on the whole it's decent

Wether it's the update or not but the lag and inconsistency tonight has been dreadful.

Like starting the game and randomly moving without touching anything. Hope it's just one of those things.

I'm liking the new maps better than the old ones, I don't notice the lag issues nearly as much as everyone else seems to do.

I even got me some fan mail the other night, some little scrote was unhappy I wouldn't let him fly around in a plane.

I had the same issues playing Conquest last night. Operations was fine.

Keep trying to stop myself from playing, but I'm too lazy to change the disc to Bf4, and was bored playing FF!

I wouldn't put it past EA to give premium players a better connection or something like that?

My accuracy is generally terrible, it's not unknown for me to empty a full clip right over someone's shoulder, or get over-excited press the wrong button and end up ducking onto the floor and shooting their feet.

No just the standard pack. On suez a tank was on the move so I moved well away and managed to get shot right next to the tank, it was at that moment I powered off the PS4 lol. That and on the same map when you start on A, push to the left of B by the fences? It took four goes to jump over lol. Was like insta reply, was.not.funny.

In all the time I've played online (currently approaching 140 hours) I've only once not been able to get online..is it possibly your internet or we're the servers down?
