Door seal.

  Clio rs 200 cup
Hi,
Just wondering where I can get a replacement seal for the door at a decent price and how hard is the old one to remove and replace?

Thanks, I've managed to order one through RPD. I'm hoping it's just a case of ripping what's left off, cleaning the area up and applying the new one?

A bit of a pain to do but not to bad. The secret to success of the re-fit is to make sure all the old gluey gunk has been removed BEFORE applying new seals.
Here is a few photos to help you:
Remove old ones - a bit of heat helps.

Mask up your paint - very important so not to scratch the paintwork when removing the old gluey gunk as I used this to remove it:

Clean up and slide in new seal:

These are the part numbers you need to order - buy from ebay and they can be had for half the price of RPD:

Thanks. You are literally a star. I'll just have to wait for some good weather as my other car lives in the garage.
