200bhp with a map according to the dark side developments website. They've got potential for pretty good power with not a lot of money spent.

The standard clutch/flywheel will last about a week once mapped.

Looks nice, I just can't grasp fast diesels.
What's not to grasp? They go well but still do 50 to the gallon!
Gave it a wash tonight and oh boy does it need some correction! I'm still haunted from doing the 850 so will probably wait until I'm in my new house.
Gave it a hand polish and wax and doesn't look too bad - just doesn't stand upto close inspection.

I had my PD130 on a hybrid turbo doing about 220 and fitted a standard spec Sachs clutch and DMF because it was a daily commuter. As long as you dont drive around flat to the boards at 1800 rpm in 6th itll be fine. That said, one with 130k on it wont.

My PD150 had just hit 100k when I mapped it. It slipped within a week.
Two mates have PD's with over 150k, mapped and on the standard clutch and dmf.
Just roll a dice..lol

TBF although they go well, DO IT. You wont regret it for a second.
Is it just the clutch that s***s itself of the flywheel? I can stomach the clutch but don't want to forking out massive money.

It depends. Again, roll a dice lol! You could get away with just a clutch however it's good practice to do both as you know.
As @TomSx says, the map makes a night and day difference. Its not the extra top end, its the way the car drives in the midrange. It would be a waste to own one and not map it IMHO
TBH, once you have the box off, I'd never risk not replacing the flywheel and slave cylinder too.

Box off, replace the lot, box on and ignore. i've just broken mine, it did 75k on that hybrid with no issues.

Looking good Jim - I like these.
The only thing I'm not a fan of on the Cupra is the clear/smoked rear lights. Rear lights from the standard Ibiza fix that though:

That may just have happened.
Only problem with that is keeping it balanced after the welding. Better of just buying a solid flywheel

Seems to be a lottery with how balanced aftermarket solid Ones are too, well was a few years ago anyway
I looked and looked and decided for a daily that a good new dmf was much more sensible as it was a known quantity
So, expected my coilovers today but yesterday got an email from 'mad motors' telling me that it would be at least 10 days before they have them in stock. How disappointing.
Anyway, cancelled that order and re ordered from trusty old larkspeed so fingers crossed I'll have them by the weekend!

I wouldn't know the difference between dual- and single-mass, but if you're going to start turning the boost up I'd imagine (from tales I've heard) you'll be in the market for a new flywheel sooner rather than later, regardless.
So, if you're changing it...may as well slap in a stronger single-mass. It's not as if anyone's going to label a PD-engined VAG car as being "refined".... unless compared to agricultural / plant equipment
