Not even looked at it mate, threw it to the side in anger.

Yeah.... leaving it outside probably isn't the best haha.
To bleed them, there's usually a bung in the piston/cylinder. Remove that and turn the handle as you would if you were lowering the jack and give the handle a few pumps.

To be fair it lives outside but in it's plastic case thing. I'll give that a go before I chuck it out then

Yeah mine lived outside naked, pretty sure that's why it broke lol.

I wish I didn't buy my sgs jack. It's cheap and pretty gash. Doesn't hit the subframe and doesn't hold the car very well.. The Jack drops a lot over a short period of time. Next purchase will be a proper one.
For the price it isn't too bad I guess.

Get the 3 ton sgs jack. You'll never need another one again. It's f**king heavy mind, but it's solid.

I have the "low entry 2 tonne SGS" too. Not very impressed with it though as it wont get under the 182 or the 200 without driving the car onto some small ramps.
Mine also doesnt hold its position once jacked up and the car sinks slowly. For the price though its pretty good.
Looking in to replacing it with a decent one though.

Great overall, although I've noticed the full width castor at the front can be susceptible to locking due to dust and dirt ingress.

I've got that f**king thing.
I took a wheel of the give it a good clean the other day and the jack started to drop. Luckily my neighbour was outside and was able to pump the jack while I put the wheel back on.
My cousin has a tyre shop and swears by the Costco jacks. That's my next purchase.

It might just need bleeding and topping up with oil . It's only about a fiver for 500ml of hydraulic jack oil .
