Smiggy's 182 Build.

Fall off? It's never fallen off mate?

Come loose then sorry, not actually fallen off. Seem to remember when we were under you car doing the exhaust, it was hanging down and wasn't sticking that great?

I'l like to do the same with mine assuming it does stick well enough. Guess it could be bonded on too.

Hmm yeah was only a little bit of the corner it was where it hadn't actually touched the tank if that makes sense. Where it dips

So it's all good to use then yeah

Have to send me the link to the stuff you bought at some point

Yes mate, just need to make sure it's mega clean and dry and use a bit of heat on the glue side when applying.

The stuff I used isn't cheap but thankfully didn't pay for it.

Car looks amazing mate! So jealous of the depths you've gone with powder coating! Would love to have the space to peel all the dirt off mine, clean everything up and coat the lot! What difference do the bushes for the rear Gaz coilovers make? Just a harder/firmer bush?

I'm jealous of the depths most of these people have gone to mate! I'm realistically because of time and money I'm only doing half of the stuff I want to do!

Just a compliance thing really with the rear bush mate. Not actually fitted them yet and have no comparison really.

Great thread, lovely attention to detail and a good amount of money spent considering you were a scumbag student until recently mate! You got many plans to get out on track in 2016? Miss having you up north!

Threads kinda died tbh mate the house is getting more attention. And not quite the level of detail my bank still could allow tbh haha and no words needs to be said in comparison to your little weapon Scott is doing haha.

No plans to get out on track more so to get all the parts on the car which is a mission in its self for me, as when one thing gets a refreshed or bought new the nearest/ or connecting parts has to be refreshed too. So as you can imagine next to do is my beam and subframe. And having a garage which is big enough for a shoe this job hasn't been done.

Don't fancy leaving it with its guts hanging out on the brand new drive. As I think Maria would leave my guys in a similar fashion haha.

Miss you more dude! Genuinely miss all of you.

You done anymore in the trophy? Or is the ultimate track Clio going to be unveiled this year?

Mucho love

Hey Smiggy. Been reading your thread. Just wondered about the vent for the fuel tank.
I'm looking at removing the carbon canister from mine and have found the same vent as yours. Does anything else need doing (bar plugging the bit on top of the valve cover where the pipework plugs into?

No mate I did temporarily leave the top of the carbon canister in place and plugged in to prevent a light coming on. But recently unplugged it all and chopped the loom away with no issues at all. No lights.

Literally all removed now. Just make sure it's well sealed up at the inlet and make sure the vent you have is allowing air into the tank....not out etc

Hello mate!

Haha sort of done quite a lot...in between my new job and new house! Car is definitely going down a different direction than I intended or should I say sooner than I intended!

With the arrival of my daily. It will be going full track slag.

Definitely lost the love with this tread but if the interest is there I can fire a few piccies up if I can (not being a paying member?)

Do it buddy. We/I miss you!

I know how you feel about the time thing. It's always an issue. Wish I had my parents again doing everything for me whilst I got all the dollah to spend on the car haha
