Had a think and i'm gonna go with one of these instead of all the original heater system

Had a little spending spree lately.... gaskets, bolts, nuts, cambelt kit, water pump and a lightweight flywheel. Thanks to @Steven_K for the flywheel and thanks to @renaultpartsdirect for all the other bits and bobs.

I believe it's a TTV flywheel:

First time I've seen your thread Adam. Car looks awesome. Really like your approach to making everything look and operate really well while it's all apart. Would like to do some stone chip like that on mine.

10 Tonne press for the accellerater and brake pedals and for the clutch pedal, i had to cut and weld in a new 3cm piece of steel

Mmm, I may just have to pull my spare set out of the cupboard and have a go. They do look 100% better modified, good job mate

Lastly, does anyone have any ideas of how to remove this rubbery stuff on the roof ???

Heat gun, scraper, tar remover and lots of elbow grease. Tip, keep a cold wet towel on the top of the roof to stop the paint from bubbling under too much heat and keep spraying it with water to keep it cool.

Not a lot been done since last update but i have decided to strip the internal wiring loom down and remove anything that won't be needed. Got some camber adjustable Black Series Poly Bushes coming for the front wish bones and some Brembo HC disc's thanks to @George@RTR_Parts. Hopefully i'll have a rolling shell soon

Head lights, wings and bonnet are back on. Head lights are only on temporary. I need to restore them badly !!

I'm also trying out a Saxo VTS aftermarket induction kit. I'm going to grind of the VTS and paint the whole thing once its finalized. Unfortunately i can't refit the slam panel with this induction kit but it's not needed with bonnet pins. I have since made a bracket for the radiator to the front cross member.

Induction set up looks interesting. Could you not trim the slam panel to make room for it?
