Pic Request: Clio On BC Coilovers

As per the title. Planning on purchasing some of these soon, just curious to see what height you can get with them, and pics of the lowest they'll go would be interesting to see. Not going for absolute lows but looks are a consideration so it would be good to see how much adjustablility I'd have height wise.

My old cup. These aren't set to the lowest but gives you an idea.

Look at my progress thread. I've currently got BC coilovers on mine. Mine can also go lower.
Looks good, what's your opinion of them? What spring rates are yours too? Seems they're still quite new to Clios and not many people have experience of them so will be interesting to hear.

They are my first set of after market suspension, but my brother and step dad who have had more experience with car parts said they looked the part and good quality and were impressed with them. My brother was quite jealous of them tbh.
Not sure in the spring rates. I do have a track set up with solid top mounts and a PMS 22mm RARB so it is quite stiff and unforgiving, but that is what I want for track. I bought them off @Dr Jekyll who had a more road set up on his. I cannot fault them. Easy to adjust too to get how you want. I would recommend and have another set too.

Sounds good! I'll be getting the top mounts and a Whiteline RARB so should be a similar-ish setup. I've only driven my brother's old phase 1 with coilovers in anger, that was on some prototype coilovers derived from KWs. So it will be interesting to compare!

Just buy them :up::up:

Had them on my Clio and Impreza. @Dr Jekyll was so impressed he went out and bought some too.

Get them from @MicKPM
Yeah most likely will be, was just curious about the height really!

Spoke to Mick already about it, but I'm going to go with Kam I think.
bc's are great, especially for the money.

i've got a whiteline arb if you want one?
I'll have a look at it when I come up this week if you want? Not looking to buy straight away though you see so no worries if you found a buyer in the mean time.
How much do the bc's go for?
Lol nope, ones I'm going for in the spec I want on Kam are £866.

  dan's cast offs.
not really advertised it yet, only mentioned it to a couple of people. if you do want it though can do it for £110 and i'll chuck it on for you.

Okay awesome, if you've got any pics of it before I come on Weds then fire them over on Facebook and I'll have a look and then have a think about what I want to do:up:

I use them on my track car, their default track spring rates are still to soft but it isn't the end of the world tbh.

Height wise they are all you could want only downside being that the rear adjustment is done in steps using plastic shims, although at least this means the rear adjuster will never seize :)

Bit soft...

Thanks for sharing. What are the 'default track spring rates' or are you referring to, is it what Kam Racing quote on their website as... "Standard BC Racing kit for Renault Clio comes with a 4kg/mm front spring (224lb/in) and 8kg rear spring"...?

I got mine from Kam Racing as they were the cheapest place for them at the time, i opted for the 'track springs' option on their site which was Front: 5Kg/mm and Rear: 8 Kg/mm
Ordered mine from Kam. I've gone for 8/8 though so will be a lot harder than yours, they have anything from 4 to 10 now for the fronts.
