Mods required to run slicks

Have read a lot about the extra stresses that is put on suspension components when running slicks on track, just wondering what needs to be done to run them 'properly'.

Currently have uprated suspension bushes (powerflex black series), RARB, and a cage, and will be upgrading to AST coilovers too.

Is this enough? Or should I also be looking into a strengthen rear beam and wishbones?

You'll be fine with what you have, drive shafts take more stress as do the other components you've mentioned but IMO not worth the extra cash in uprating drive shafts, just make sure they're fairly fresh, if not have spares on hand maybe. I'll be running slicks once I get coilovers.

Aslong as everything is tight you should be fine. When you start breaking circuit records it might be worth getting better stuff :)

Yeah literally all you need is cage to make sure the tdo is happy. Standard components are fine to run them provided in good condition

MSV T&C's...
Cars using slick tyres must have an MSA/FIM approved roll cage.

Out of curiosity, why? Is it just on the assumption that if your running slicks your going to be going for it and far more likely to roll?

Make sure your suspension can actually make slicks work properly, No point running them if its on a soft setup with a degree or two of camber really.
