well a little up date the bumper turned up that i was reassured was in mint condition yeh was no better than the one i have on already lol so im going to have mine painted at some point. i bought a fog light dropped that in tbh its not bugging me all that much the wheels are bugging me more!.
i picked up a set of eibech lowering springs from a lad on minitorque with the thought of they only cost £70 and they will do while i save for coilovers BUT im over the moon with them at the minute went to a rolling road day yesterday and they dont feel at all how i thought they would.
lastly ive ordered a cable to upload the JCW200 or 210 (once i get 380cc injectors) as the map files and how to have been shared on minitorqe @bill may also be of some use to you ;-)
no side on pics to show you how it sits as i havnt taken any yet lol. but seen these wheels for sale n im tempted

Sound like your happy with the springs :up: I really have no complaints with mine, and that includes hitting a big pothole.
Did you have your mini on the rollers? So is the cable so you upload a map instead of getting it mapped by someone? Is it a temporary map?
Love the wheels, I'd be all over them if they were closer lol.
16's would be better though I reckon.

check it out on here its the maps from the jcw models the jcw200 so the std 340cc injectors can be used and the newer jcw 210 where u need 380cc injectors (can use ones from a focus st225 with wiring adapter)
ive bought the cable so will try to upload the map n see how it goes
no didnt put it on yet mate want to get a map first then that thread popped up with the map files so will go back up to dynodaze once its been put on

Always makes me laugh when you see who drives these normally. Usually driven like hooligans by those who are like 40+ years old. Strange how you don't see many young people driving them! I love them.

they are a older mans clio similar in many ways but feels more grown up. its a side step going from a 172 to a cooper s but im glad i did it they are a hoot to drive

Mines on 29.something per gallon average, I've only done about 200 miles ive not reset it since buying it, so this was from the previous owner who was 24, so im sure he didn't hang about in it, for comparison my Clio 172 cup did 34mpg, and my r26 did 24mpg, will reset it when I've done my first tank and see what its doing

Had a look at mine earlier and it was 34.3. I must drive like miss daisy. It will no doubt chage Saturday once my pulley is fitted. :smile: It currently feels slower than my diesel barge..
Is Davey fitting these matewell my st225 injectors and the adapters have landed ready for install the weekend then i can load the jcw210 map looking forward to getting it on
new o rings should land tomorrow
i didnt think of that would be good having a pro on the job

Excellent! You definitely getting the wheels then? I think they look very nice indeed, and what cam lol, the cat cam from 1320?
if i can get down there before he sells them yeh ill take them ig not ill look at some turinis ;-)

Ha! I prefer them over turinis lol, I like wheels with a dish on minis, cams are to cheap to ignore :up:

15. It was supposed to be a 17 but Millsys autos can't get hold of them for a couple of weeks. I'm not chasing figures and it was a cheap car so not having to get a I/C is probably a good thing.

yeh mate installation tape over it works a treat nice clean cuts at the ends will be fine
you can see i still need to do the front part as i ran out lol.

nope just try n keep a clean line and cover the chrome works out fine. i did plasti dip the handles 2 but my daughter decided to pic at it at the rolling road meet the other weekend.
well ive fitted the st225 380cc injectors (same spec as JCW 380cc) car runs fine. tried to upload the jcw210 map and it errors on 99% upload so at this point write the std map bk on unplug and test the car starts it dont!. i write the file again after my bottom got a little loose and it works this time custom map it looks like. gutted it didnt work as the 210 file can run a decent spec

well after chatting to a mapper on a mini page about the issue putting the jcw210 map on my car he asks me to fire over a copy of my map that i did also attached the 210 map in hope lol. A hour later he sends me a altered version of my standard map with the advance fueling and torque limit that the jcw210 has so i plug the car in and it goes on at starts great
. took out for a quick run well i can say it pulls in a difftent manner its harder im well happy with this guys help. he also has sent me a file that he has pushed alittle more when i asked whats he changed he juat said "try it" lol ill give that a try tomorrow may need to pop to a rolling road to get AFR looked at

yeh its made a decent diffrence mate another lad on MT has put the same map on his and he is also happy.
there prolines i think mate dont think sportslines come on minis there black anyway lol im well impressed with them tbh.
