So heard my old clioturbo has had some kind of engine failure.Glad i got rid of it when i did after hearing that.Shame its happened though.

Might be daft but can anyone tell if they are supertech valves from this pic......

Ringland failure that. They do look like supertech valves mate yes. The inlets have a black coating on them, but the exhausts are polished. They still look to have the coating/polished appearance.

My car is currently in at a specialist, and he has advised me that if i am keeping the car in the long run, to remove the engine and start again as the build is basically w**k.

Yeah they were forged pistons.Just out of interest does anyone ever know what happened to clioturbo after all them horror stories came up at the same time ?

He has only fitted a gearbox and fuel pump and the amount of things that he has had to fix is ridiculous!

Just been going through my thread there as not read it in a long time.Practically 2 years to the day since i first visited clioturbo and the nightmare started.What an expensive way to ruin what was a brilliant wee car.

the funny thing is when i saw it it took a good five seconds or so to actually realise what had been done!! i'm still trying to work out why though but that will probably take forever...
