From Ford to Renault, greetings from the south! Clio 182

  Renault Clio 182
Hi there!

I previously owned a MK6 Fiesta ST which I put a lot of money and time into. Unfortunately an incident happened a couple months ago, and the engine seized. I decided to look into getting another car to replace it rather than waiting for the time to fix it. I now own a 182 clio sport just like my dad, which made it an easy buy, seeing and hearing his car beforehand

(Both of our 182's on the drive when I brought mine home. his has what I have read is a "Full Fat" pack, while mine is a standard 182)

I've got a lot planned for it, after doing so much to my previous car it's only normal! There's still a big hole to fill to replace the fiesta ST, but i'm hoping with modifications that'll happen :tongueout:

I'm very new to the Renault car scene, so all advice is welcome
I'm from South West England if anyone's near me!
Karl

Some pictures of my fiesta for anyone who's curious!

Welcome aboard mate.

Whereabouts in the South East are you?

Welcome  what are the initial plans for the car?
Initially fixing the imperfections and noises that shouldn't be there 😂
Had to replace a couple things like the water pump & alternator belt, there's some corroding on the rear silencers so i'lll be looking into an aftermarket exhaust (as i'd want to change it anyway).

Getting the cup spoiler was my first change, had to be done! There's a few bodywork scuffs that i'll be getting rectified then i'll move onto some visual modifications like the wheels and some small bits.

It's not going to be a track car or anything, just want to make it look nice and enjoy it

Got to agree with james on the membership, £12 well spent - was even worth it when i only had my 1.2L Dynamique never mind now that i have a 172

Welcome to the forum bud. Loads of advice and help on here.

Become a full blown member as for £12 there's loads of info and bargains to be had in the for sale section, if you haven't already..
Yeah once i've gotten myself settled then i'll probably join up :tonguewink:

Welcome mate, they both look like nice tidy examples.

Get a fatty indiction kit, they sound lovely compared to the standard setup, it sounds much throatier and racey!
