Handbrake not working one side

Hi was lowering car today when i put up in air ns handbrake isnt working. It likely to be cable or caliper ?

Cable probably. Have someone do a wiggle of the handbrake whilst you see if the return lever moves or not.

They're cheap and a piece of piss to do.

I just looked 15 quid for pagid ones ill take a punt i think

I thought unless you buy the genuine ones they never appear to be the right length?

Yeh do a search as the Pagid ones can be dodgy in length.

I replaced mine recently and one was fine, the other was too short. Sure it was the nearside that was fine but the offside was too short. Can't remember though.
