So....After reading the threads on here...Ive taken my 2 week old 2003 172 back to the garage who sold me it. And is this morning as we speak, they are stripping the strut apart to find something wrong with it. All the threads on here point to indirect stuff...and Ive not really concluded...

Dropped one of the remote keys earlier to my 172 (03) plate. Chipped a piece of the plastic off of the housing near the blade. The electronic piece inside and the blade are both fine. Can I just purchase another key from Renault ? And put my electric part back in and slide the blade back...
