Yes. We did it mate. Not the hugest amount of room for the front seat passenger but it's not too bad really. we had this beast when she was rear facing - Britax Romer.

Yeah it'll have ISOFIX - 172's also have a tether point in the boot as well if your seat needs one.

I didn't end up replacing it mate. But the genuine Renault boots came with the bearing. No link I'm afraid as I ordered them the old fashioned way by telephone.
