Car starts and runs but failed mot on lambda test. Maybe inlet leak or 02 sensor fault . Emil light occasionally came on but goes out after driving. Just trying to find faults stored

Anybody got any ideas please. Disconnected battery for 10 minutes in case this helped but snap on Tester still not connecting . The plug is pushed in all the way. Car is bog standard from factory.

Trying to find fault codes but reader says cannot link. Have tried an expensive reader and two much cheaper readers Maxi scan ms3000. States linking error. Car is 2005 182. Incidentally radio and cigar lighter works, someone suggested may be on the same fuse. Have used another cheaper...
