I'm getting two F1 Aysemeytric 2's for 74 each fitted. I have 2 PS3's on the front with about 70% tread (from new to legal limit), should I put the new tyres on the front and have PS3's at the back?
They don't specilise in car tyres, maybe they don't buy from camskill?
Camskills has gone up in price quite a bit I think, last time I got some fitted they were a lot cheaper
Hi Guys,
Back tyres are low and there's a nail in there too. I called the local tyre fitters today and they can't get any PS3's in within the next 3 weeks so I'm looking at alternatives.
What is considered the next best for fast road use? Preferably something that handles around the same as...
Yep, discount worked even after the assistant said it wouldn't. I've just bought the 200 piece set for £125 with a trade card, £100 without VAT. The sets huge (physically)
Not Clio specific but I've seen a fair amount with aftermarket steering wheels. Why would you get one if there's no airbag?
Am I right thinking that with racing harnesses you don't need one?
For a road car without harnesses I'm confused why people would get one simply because the wheel is "better".
Also, could have found a loophole if it excludes promotions. This set doesn't show any discount http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/tools/socket-sets/halfords-advanced-200-piece-socket-set-8-piece-professional-screwdriver-set-bundle

I phoned Halfords today and they said it didn't. What do you need to sign up for one? My Dad can't go down but I have access to the papers, can I set one up under his name for him?
Hi Guys,
I've had to do a few bits to the Clio and it's a pain in the arse getting the right tools to get it done. My Dad has a few sets with bits missing and loads of rusted / dirty stuff and I end up spending more time finding the right bits than fixing things. I've been looking at getting a...
Hi Guys,
I've been thinking about getting some different alloys for a while but can't decide which.
Today there was a flood on the way back from work which caused me to aquaplane into a kerb and damage the front o/s which has made me grow on the idea.
I was thinking about 15s for cheaper...
Hey guys I'm having some intermittent issues with my Clio 182. The problems started a few months ago.
The car turns over but doesn't fire, sometimes it takes a couple of goes to get it working and like yesterday morning I needed to turn the ignition on, wait for the pumps (idk if they are pumps...
I've read it's a production requirement. If they are on they need to work but if they've been removed it's fine as there's nothing to test.. maybe somebody can clarify as I'm interested in some blanks myself.
Also some garages won't check or will turn a blind eye like decats getting through.
Yeah when I asked the fitter he said all glass needs to meet British standards anyway.
There's probably a small amount of truth but I doubt there will be much difference even under test conditions.
Also I guess when I come to sell that car it's a small positive as I can say it's had a brand...
If you're getting a replacement would you not want the "best glass"? It's not that anything else is immediately bad but I don't like to think I could potentially be compromising.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
What's the best wax/coating to keep your car clean?
I see lots of posts about the best waxes and coating for colour and shine but in your experience what products best keep your car clean (after it had been cleaned)?
I currently use EGP.
Thanks
Hello,
Last week I went past a gritter and got a small chip in the bottom corner of my window (on the black bit so didn't see the damage), it has turned into a 3 inch crack. I have called my insurer (elephant) who charge £25 to fix it and £75 to replace the window.
They're coming out tomorrow...
I sent him an email, he still does a custom map for £100 extra but it won't be worth it for me.
He said the 97+ too which I thought was a mistake but you both must be right.
