Yeah it is all connected....when you turn the fog lights on the icon on the dash does not come on.... been trying to sort it for weeks :)
i'm not going to trax not sure about the other 2 i haven't done a show for a while car needs work doing.... and 2 pages of parts to buy lol
those wires i wouldn't have a clue.... but if the red light goes out before you start then id say that the immobiliser is not the issue, if it cranks 3 times then the red light goes solid it could be the crank sensor (tdc sensor).... good luck with finding out what that wiring is
ok so a little back ground its a 172 2002 the fog lights originally didn't work due to the white wire on the stalk disconnecting,,, so fixed that all is fine.
so a few months down the line near the mot time typical there not working again!!!! iv tried replacing the stalk checked all fuses and...
right ill let this being the last lot iv still got loads but ill be here all day

Right yeah that did make sense weirdly enough the bearings were fine but because I had the Pistons out I thought I'd change the beatings while I'm there, but I do understand what you meant cheers

Right ill lock it in place and give it a gentle slap [emoji23]
I asked because i didnt want to keep breaking things on this engine it has been a utter nightmare

Ok the only reason why i asked as there is only the crank in there as the pistons etc are all out, so in a nut shell hit the cog that the cambelt connects to with a blunt object, lets see who wins me or the engine lol

So im stripping a 182 f4r engine pistons removed
Iv undone the bolt for the crankshaft, but i cant get the cog off where the cambelt connects to, the aux pulley is off but not cambelt
I can post a pic tomorrow just seeing if anyone can help thanks
