are the inlet valves on a clio 182 the same size as a 172 clio??

The pin obviously went in a balance drilling hole

No used the pin to lock crank and a screwdriver in the spark plug hole read the thread

I've come to the conclusion that the crank was not locked properly just waiting on a gasket set and some valves keep you updated on the rebuild hopefully it all goes well
