Thanks mate. Repairing the bodywork aint too bad, just needs alot of patience to get it smoothed out. The painting is a ball ache, especially with a spray can. Too much pressure and left with drip marks. Once im done though it should be looking alot better

Got the wheels re-aligned today as the 182 was pulling to the right, toe was way off on the right front and steering wheel was off center. Totally transformed the car, driving straight and true

Got the exhaust and sports cat on and all sealed, no more leaks! The new clamp that replaced the old olive clamp is so much better, much tighter fitting. Plugged in diagnostics and both o2 sensors are stable and the engine isnt running as lean as it was. Took it for a drive and no more raspy...

Centre section and cat are off. The new gasket doesnt sit in the cat right, seems the gasket is too big, even mounted up on the manifold it wasnt right. I tested the gasket in a sports cat and its a much better fit.

Got the exhaust disconnected and removed the old clamp, ordered a new renault clamp as the old one is rubbish.

Took it to a local ren specialist

Car went in today for cam belt, dephaser, water pump, aux belt, tensioner, cts and thermostat. Its running much smoother :-) Sorting the exhaust this weekend, its blowing and is sitting way too low.

It was hanging lower than that before hangers where replaced! I pushed the exhaust as far as it would go into the hangers. That last pic shows the center mount on the right. Left side Right side

yeah mate i did the rear hangers already, new brackets and fitted powerflex bushes. Aint tried bending the hangers though, is there enough flex in the chassis mount brackets?
