I went for trying map sensor first, I unplugged it and car ran better, didn't stall, and revs were alot more stable but it idled about 1100 unplugged, so fitted a new geniune Renault one, car pulls so much better than it did before, it's not hesitating, and hasn't stalled yet, but revs are still...

What's symptoms of them? The track rod ends don't seem to have much play, but with both wheels in air if grabbing wheel at quater to 3 I can move the wheel slightly, but I thought this was just movement on the rack between the steering lock

Na completely standard, it's worst if you hit a join in the road or white lines, it will pull harshly to one side. Gonna do ball joint before aligning it, then go from there, plan on lowering it after that with new top mounts, then hopefully it will handle like my last one

It's not snapped springs, and it doesn't seem to bounce about after a bump when a shock goes, rack bushes didn't move about either, top mounts could be though but was gonna do them when I lower it anyway

The track rod ends don't seem to have any movement when I tried moving them up and down with a bar, but might do them at same time before I get it aligned, can't remember tyre size but there 16's

Managed to get under the car and got a driver's ball joint with slight play, and gonna do outer arb bushes, then get tracking done and see how it is after that

It doesn't seem to be bouncing about when you hit a bump or anything so I can't tell, but my last 172 when rear shocks went it drove horrible, but over a bump the back end bounced about

Hi all just bought a 172 cup, and the handling is all over the place. It's standard and will need tracking set up aswell but it's got weird issues.
Over rough roads, there's a knock but not so much over big pot holes, so thinking arb bushes?

I had h&r's on a golf gti I had and hated them to harsh, was shocks and springs. How stiff are they on clio? Last clio and Astra gsi had eibach springs and they were much more forgiving on normal roads

The plugs came out in order so the left one is the timing belt side, and the last one is closest gearbox, so I thought it was plug 2, but have I got it wrong way round, is it plug 3
