To clean the interior I used Asda All Purpose Cleaner (sold as floor cleaner but labelled as APC) - £1 for a litre bottle. Diluted 4:1 with water in a spray bottle and agitated with a detail brush it works VERY well on everything including leather seats. Don't tell anyone though as don't want it...
I don't put any dressing on the interior, pretty unnecessary if you ask me and not a fan of the awful "dressed interior" look! It does cost a tonne, cheery will check out those alternatives (y)
I forgot to mention I applied some bulk Iron Fallout remover...To be honest it was pretty unnecessary as not much was coming off with the clay anyway...
So I detailed my Mk1 TT on Wednesday and it's looking good, hard to believe it's 20 years old...
The process and products used were as below:
1. Snow foam pre-wash with Bilt Hamber Auto Foam
2. Washed with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and a microfibre mitt
3. Clay with Bilt Hamber Medium...
I'm not going against the gov advice, stay at home save lives etc. Just posed a hypothetical question. Don't want Boris to cough on me as a punishment.
One of the ball joints in the linkage will have popped out most likely, usually you can pop them back together with pliers and add some grease whilst doing so. Most important to check the fitment of the mech otherwise the issue will reoccur (y)
I had issues with my wiper mechanism - wipers flying off on the motorway etc, the solution was due to the fitment...
When fitting, the wiper mech needs to be located onto a pin on the firewall for the wipers to work properly. This can be seen if you look up beneath the scuttle with the...
It might be one of those - is that the stuff that glues the windscreen to the bodywork? I'd suggest changing one seal at a time to see if the leak stops before you have to buy more parts (y)
I just fixed a similar leak on my 182 and made a guide on how to fix the inner door seals, it should help you. The main rubber seals can be inspected visually to see if they need to be replaced...
I recently made a How To on replacing the inner door sealant if this helps anyone. The door card has markings which show exactly where to apply sealant https://cliosport.net/threads/water-leaking-into-footwells-how-to-renew-inner-door-seal.829946/
Answered my own question after lots of trawling through the forums...

Another question I have is when I removed the washer bottle - behind it are two holes in the bodywork that the bottle locates in. Is anyone familiar with this? Should there be a gasket between the bottle and these holes? It's the one large round hole and the smaller oblong shaped hole through...
Today I took the scuttle panels off to clean the drains behind there (wet carpets) and can't for the life of me figure out how this piece of trim is fitted goes - does someone know? Help much appreciated!
Just changed my pre-cat O2 sensor AGAIN to try and diagnose a NEW misfire (the fun never stops...!) I remembered this method of accessing the plug and indeed you can access it from the passenger wheel well. You can even fit two arms in there to hold onto both sides of the plug. Thanks barker22...
Did a bit of research and the track rod ends are directional, the heads should 'kink' backwards when fitted to the car. I've made a diagram to explain what I mean with the correct part numbers for each side, imagine that its viewed from above... Hope this helps someone out!
As above does anybody have a photo which includes the track rod ends from underneath - fitted to the car, whilst on a lift? Trying to identify which way round they need to go - cheers!
