I haven’t found much on here, but I’m sitting on a brand new set of genuine Trophy 182 spec Sachs front and rear dampers.
Just wondering if anyone has upgraded their non Trophy 182’s to full Trophy suspension? If so, can anyone advise if everything is just a direct bolt on replacement...
Yes, it's a little like Ford imperial blue. A bigger to match, but possible. It would need a top end spray shop though. A cheap job would just cost more in the long run.
£5,500 with 80,000 miles.
I will happily swap you...if you also leave an envelope with £10,000 in the glove box, haha!
Here's my baby a few days ago...
I didn't know if the Apex one was still for sale. The fact that it is tells you that it is around £1k (at least) overpriced. It's not exactly a low miler either. I'll have a hefty budget and the Apex one is certainly affordable to me, but I'm not in the game of having the wool pulled over my...
I'll be coming into the market for a PB one in the next couple of months, so if any of you are thinking about selling around that time then please let me know.
Haha! Deal!
Only joking. I'll enjoy it and only an offer out of this world would tempt me to sell.
Here's hoping for a long, hot summer and autumn to enjoy it.
Following my post, I've had several PM's from people wanting to buy my Cossie.
To save replying individually, I'll just reply on here. Strictly, it's not for sale, but I guess everything in life has a price/value. With this in mind, although I'm not encouraging any offers, I have had way too...
What a sad end for such a great car. Sadly, Cossie's did attract some right wrong 'uns in their time.
He'd have been better off just taking ownership of it and sitting on it for a few years. Silly lad.
I've seen them go over £100k. There's one priced at £120k at the moment and for it being exceptionally low in miles there's a good chance they'll get the full asking price.
That Cossie looks familiar. Saying that, it may well just be a similar reg to another one I've seen. They're a great experience. Nothing comes close out of the modern cars. I like their rawness and the fact that it doesn't have half the driver aids modern cars have. Still, they were well specced...
Performance wise it's standard power (204bhp).
However, I've added some newer bits off its younger 4x4 brother, consisting of;
4x4 bonnet vents (rwd ones didn't have them. Stupid considering the heat the turbo generates),
4x4 coolant tank (a common replacement that even the concours lads do)...
I don't drive her anywhere near as much as I should, and hardly take any pics of her, but here's my Sierra Cosworth after having her 1st wash of the year...
The general opinions I've heard suggests that despite being slightly more "common", liquid yellow ones command higher prices than petrol blue.
Any truth in this? I did see a petrol blue go for £2500 in December/January, and I haven't seen a liquid yellow one down at that price - ever.
