Mine also does this and as I understand its due to excess voltage drop during cranking. Basically the battery is on its way out and this shows up more during cold spell where more power required to crank.
Basically being a tight wad Scot I bought the resistor pack repair kit for 12 quid off e bay and whilst removing the old transistor from the board I have managed to damage the board. A section of the copper ribbon came off with the old component and I tried soldering the new component in and...
Mine has just started to do this today and oddly the fan now comes on after first click of the key when previously it only came on when ignition lights on??
Check the rear spring/s havent snapped with a loose piece jingling around as you drive. Not always immediatley obvious as it can be a very small section at the end (tail).
I am assuming you can get Virgin cable and not adsl? If so definitley Virgin. Never had any reliability issues at all but if you need to contact customer services then get an interpretor as its a call centre in the jungle somewhere.

I had a wee try in the Carphone Warehouse earlier and not being a great phone user tbh wasnt really sure what to look for, It seemed ok. Played some music and looked online and all seemed fine.
I have had a search through the internet on the Nokia N8 as Tesco are doing a good deal for £20 a month and everyone just says it has a good camera but a crap operating system so avoid. What exactly does this mean? Is it slow as a browser or is it something else as I dont really understand why...
Gave the car a good wash this afternoon and decided that I would give it the works so had a look through the posts in this section for some info on products as I am a bit of a newbie to this detailing lark and went down to Halfords.
Ended up buying the Autoglym detailing clay kit, high...
I can understand people going back to garages where they have had good service but at the end of the day its a cambelt service on a Clio and not brain surgery and I cant justify a trek for a few hundred miles to get this done. The use of special tools for this job is not only applicable to the...
For info of those in Central Scotland I have just booked the car in for timing and aux belt kits with GI Motorsport in Kilmarnock, the guy has experience of working on these cars and was previously a Renault tech. The price is £432 inc vat which seems reasonable.
