if the sensor goes it normally throws up a pedal potentiometer circuit fault (DF129) clean the throttle bodt with carb cleaner or suchlike it may help

the rubber hose hasnt been blocked off it still runs into the valve in the wheel arch. i just didnt see any thing electrical that could be causing this!! looks like i could have to go back to renault (hate giving them money)

is it the big black plastic thingy with a large pipe and a small pipe coming off it above the horn. sorry if this is totally obvious but i prob cant see it for looking at it

this light came back on along with the one in the middle of the dash andi found that these wires have been stippen and have been rubbing on the top of the engine could this be the fault ?? hope the pics work

is the faulty solenoid located near the pipe

i have a k&n gen2 fitted will i still have this pipe connected!! is this the breather that goes to the back of the engine?? cheers for all replies btw (exept iain lol)

the car runs ok then without warning the fault light comes on continuosly and i lose all power when its switched off and back on it runs fine but this keeps happening . i got fault codes cleared as i thought it was the tdc sensor but this code has been read as a actual fault and not just a...

on the faults sheet from renault. they said it would take them at least a couple of hours to properly diagnose but they aint cheap

tempting m8 too tempting actually lol oh and btw the code next to the fault is DF308

Could anyone tell me what and where the Bi-mode air inlet solenoid valve is ?

the light in the top pic came on in my 172 and i was told it would be the t.d.c sensor . maybe worth checking m8 just to rule it out

j888 is quick but very beatable in a clio . i had him in a 328 bmw but that wasnt the one behind me

the pug has a few toys m8 but nothing fancy !! the clio still gets past it lol, probably have seen you, what is it you drive ??

changed the sensor but its still doing it!!:mad: think i need the faults re-set at renault .

right. cleaned up the tdc sensor and the car hasnt died on me again!!:D im going to disconnect the o2 sensor now but this will leave a hole can anyone tell me what i plug this hole up with or do i just sleeve the sensor and plug back in??

does anyone know when re-gassing which valve is used as theres 2 of them

so firstly have the faults read . secondly replace the t.d.c sensor and thirdly undo the lambda sensor (the one closest to the mid section ) . coudl anyone tell me where this tdc sensor is located and what it looks like . cheers for the help folks

when i took mine off i used boiling kettles first then i used bug and tar remover .Worked a treat
