My latest Rallying adventure took me over to Karlstad in Sweden for Round 2 of the WRC 2013. This was by a LONG way the best event I've ever done, if any of you have a chance to do it in future, sell a kidney or something if you have to, its incredible.
Coldest temperature we saw was -16, so it...
Got up at stupid o'clock three days in a row, walked miles until my legs nearly fell off, got blown over by 50mph gusts on Myherin (those wind farms are there for a reason!), got stuck in massive traffic jams...but I'd do it all again tomorrow!
Although there were only 30 cars entered and a...
Rather than start three separate threads I thought I'd lump them all in one thread. First up are a few from the AWDC 4x4 event at Brynfynnon:

Next up was the Nicky Grist Stages, held over the Epynt Military Ranges:

Rather than spam up the boards I thought I'd post a few shots from my last two events in one thread. Although they were only a week apart the difference in the weather was ridiculous. For the Mid Wales Stages it was like being in the Arctic with snow and hail showers, and then it was like the...
Took a road trip to Belgium last weekend for the Rally Legends Boucles de Spa, if you ever have a chance to go then do it! It's probably the closest thing you can get to recreating the legendary Group B days with f**king thousands of mad spectators from all over the place lining the stages. The...
Spent an incredibly cold day in the Forest of Dean on Saturday, temperatures were down to -8 at one stage which made pressing the shutter button a challenge in itself. It was quite surreal driving into the Forest from Monmouth - no snow all the way from Neath and then suddenly - it was like I'd...
This pretty awesome video was posted on a WRC Forum I'm a member of. It's a bit of in-car with Østberg testing for WRC Sweden. Really like the position of the camera which gives a much wider perspective:
Big balls!
I can't believe it's that time of year again....
I was lucky enough once again this year to fit in two rounds of the WRC, including WRC Rally d'Italia which was absolutely unforgettable for all sorts of reasons. I've tried to include a shot from every event, but forgive me if there's a slight...
Only managed three of the five days this year (including Shakedown); and didn't get to a couple of spots I'd planned but still, had a good few days out in the Forests of Mid and North Wales.
Over the three days I'd say I walked close to 12 miles and had about 10 hours uncomfortable sleep in the...
Pulled up behind you at the Pied Piper roundabout earlier. Not sure what model it was tbh, just black and non-sport (and you were in the wrong lane ;))

Here's my take on an unforgettable few days in the Sardinian sunshine. The event had just about everything a Rally photographer could wish for - sun, scenery, watersplashes, big jumps, dust, big crowds. We had the added bonus of staying at a secluded campsite on the north coast, where we...
Had a fantastic day out in Sweet Lamb and Myherin for the Mid Wales Stages on Sunday. This event usually runs in the middle of June, so it was a bit of a change to be in thermals instead of shorts and T-shirt, and my god it was cold early on, I lost feeling in my fingers at one point and had to...
Evening all,
I've noticed over the last few months the ride on the Trophy has got a bit crashy and jolty over bumps, and doesn't feel quite as settled through the corners.
I've recently had the Sachs dampers refurbished, fitted new bottom ball joints and had 4 new PS3s fitted and balanced...
Awesome news if this were to come true!
"Renault has been tipped for a return to top-level rallying, as the company scales down its involvement in Formula One.
The French giant is now involved in Grand Prix racing principally as an engine supplier, with the former Renault F1 team now known as...
Possibly a bit self indulgent, but I thought I'd put together a selection of my favourite shots from last year. You may notice a slight bias towards the two WRC events I was lucky enough to shoot at, but I make no apologies for that!
These aren't in any particular order either.

Here's a selection of my shots to mark the end of an era in World Rallying. This was the last event before the change of regulations from 2L to 1.6L Turbo engines for next season, so the Focus and C4 WRCs are now a thing of the past!
I have to say this was probably the best event I've ever...
Spotted in the Speccie car park at Sweet Lamb earlier today. Hope you has as much fun cleaning it as I did, seemed like I had half of Mid Wales stuck to my car!

Apologies if we-post, I did search.
Spotted in Neath this evening at around 6:15pm. Looked absolutely mint but driving in broad daylight with dipped headlights and fogs on is not a good look. True story.
My first ever foreign event, and f**k me what an 'event' it turned out to be! That unpronouncable Icelandic volcano decided to wake up the day after we arrived in Istanbul, and little did we know at the time the carnage and confusion that would bring upon us. Our flight home which was scheduled...
At least I think it was a Trophy, only had a very quick glance as I was leaving so it may have been an Inferno.
Then spotted a LY182 near the Llangennech junction of the M4 travelling w/b at approx 1pm.

Right, myself and another photographer are starting up a website which will basically be an online portfolio. I mainly do Rallying, he does Rallying and hill-climbing.
This is my Flickr account to give you some idea of my stuff:

No more events this year for me, so thought I'd put a quick selection together of my favourite shots from the Rallies I've been to in 2009.
Thanks,
