i know hill power do this but are there any other companies that do cams for the RT, has anyone had this done on this forum? If i say got my car chipped only would it make much of a difference or do you really need to get cams aswell to make anything of the chip? only enquiring as i am more...

im really considering the swap now as ive had the RT a year and am really bored of the power or lack of it lol how much of a task is it to get the engine in and running? if i source a doner car is there anything else thats needed? i have mk1 a phase 3 dont know if that makes any difference...

Had a spare one from my old engine so i thought i would have a go at making it look a bit better... i stripped the paint, sanded, sanded and sanded more then polished it then painted it then sanded back the lettering polished then finally laquered it. i think it looks better...

if the cap is fooked will this cause a water loss due to incorrect pressure ? i also noticed a small crack which is never wet but could i still be loosing water fom it? i can hear a hissing noise after i have been driving from the header tank so its loosing pressure and causing water loss...

my pugs were so old that one has just snapped and left the thread inside the plug hole, how would you get this out? this must have happend before seems like a right nightmare to get out! must be some way of doing this HELP!

Dont know if this has been done as i have never seen it. Would it be an easy change or would it require as much work to swap as the valvaer engine?? Thanks , JB

New seats in and finished my boot build and extended it to cover up where the back seats were, and my bargain sparco harnesses. Pretty happy with the finish as i got all the stuff really chaep just by hunting around. Jb

I have a mk1 phase 3 rt , on idle you can really hear a tapping noise which is constant as the engine idles and increases when its reved. I dont get any smoke and it never overheats or uses water and oil, its been like it for ages but its annoying me now sounds like a fiesta lol not quite that...
