i want to remove my air con and pas pump does anyone have pics of the correct routing for the belt amd pulley set up?
i have the cup bracket for the top of the altainator only
also stripped the cam belt down as there was a oil leak from the cam seal but it seems the cam belt has been lightly...

I've asked around about the vw conversion and it seems comp parts are hard to come by
Sadev is not a option as money is a little tight, any ideas on how much longer they will need to be with the jc5?

i have a clio 172 that iam building into a rally car but i also have left over ex cup car suspension hubs etc that i will be using
can anyone tell me what shafts i have to run or should i just fit another gearbox like the vw etc?

its a mix match of bits but the running gear is ph1 172 for the throttle cable set up rather than fly by wire,

i know what your saying mate and its a good point but while the thing is in bits i thought i could do the work easier and spread the cost, most of my old rally cars were std engines but uprated gearboxes, the box for a clio will have to wait,
i am building a ph1 172 rally car and looking for mods to help gain a bit extra
i will need to run std injection system but it can be remapped etc
i hear such things as
182 exhaust manifolds
182 inlet manifolds
a bigger throttle body off what iam not sure?
i can get parts machined etc so open...
same here mate mine will be road rally and single venue, i guess i just want to de clutter and get rid of messy wirring etc, do you run a heater box/motor?
cheers mg, i got the bumper on easy enough, i did my first ever respray to the clio and ph2 panels went to bolt them up only to realise they dont fit, now i have a ph1 with no front end on it and a ph2 lhd ex cup car with panels missing sat outside my house, with winter comming id like to get it...
as some of you may know im going to build a 172 rally car and untill i get settle on what spec i want it, im going to build it to a basic usable spec and go from there
so id like to get rid of imobilizer is there anywhere i can send my ecu or any other ideas you lot have?
yes mate from what i see the ph2 lamps dont fit in the hole, inner wings slope down at front so wing mounts are all to low and front panel sits lower too,
from what i can see i need to drill out all the spot welds on wing rails and front panel and just swap it all over but before i start was...
